We perform comprehensive assessments by observing specific movements and determining any deficiencies. The strength of individual muscles is tested which may contribute to these deficiencies. Muscle flexibility, joint stability, coordination, and balance are also tested. With this information, we formulate your exercise program to increase strength, muscle flexibility and restore normal movement and function.
Core Stability Training
The ability to maintain certain positions while moving other parts of your body is very important in normal function. The lack of movement control causes compensatory overuse of muscles leading to injury. We train core stability by breaking down movements into simpler components and then increase the difficulty level as you improve your stability. In this way, you are able to build your own series of well-controlled movements and positions to help you effectively perform functional home, sport, and work activities.
